extension trouble and two lines trouble 1

I have two different problems one if the extension of an employee works when I press the feature button with that employees name on it but if I do Feature 986 it says that extension does not exist.

The other problem is for another employee he has two lines, when he is on one he wants the other one to ring anyways (3 times) and tell him who is on it.

How can I do this please please help.
 
on your feature 9 8 6 (transfer call to voicemailbox)trouble: is the mailbox the same as the DN? are you dialing the mailbox number and not tryig to transfer to the button? how about trying feature 9 8 0 then the mailbox number?

on the two line trouble you would want to turn off the fwd on busy to vm and maybe leave the fwd no answer to vm on. next if the lines actually appear on the station you can set the call display to show under CLASS assignment under the terminals & sets -> telco features. If this dosen't work out the user can dial feature 8 1 1 and press the button that is ringing to display info. JerryReeve

when I enter fature 980 and the ext number it says invalid mailbox. I'm not sure what to do it is that way with two of my telephones. How would I be able to fix that please help.
 
You will need to find out what the mailbox # is .
It is sounding like the Vm mailbox and the Dn are not the same .
*note mailbox and ext. are two seperate things . It is a good Idea to keep the two #'s the same to eliminate things like this.
