Dear All

I am facing a problem to CLI i.e. when one extension calling to other extension in same epabx model siemens hipath 4000 CLI not display .

Rest all other feature of FEASU is working fine in epabx i.e. call pick , call back etc only CLI not display within epabx however when i called to other epabx which is tie with IP trunk CLI is working fine.

Pls guide and thanks in advance.

Thanks for reply but CLI is not working in Analog extension Paramater of SSTNO= NO already.

For Analog extensions to SHOW CLI then
CHA-FEASU:A,CLIP;

The Assistant equivalent of SSTNO is "Way to Display" on the Basic1 tab. I just recently figured that out after years - I always had to do it by hand...

Because you threw Analog into the mix - Are you saying the CLI of Analog phones doesn't show up in the system phones, or are you saying that Analog phones that just happen to have a display do not show who is calling?

Dear All

thanks for reply but i am facing the problem of :- Analog phones that just happen to have a display do not show who is calling

SSTNO= NO
Feasu- CLIP -Activate
All the feature code i.e. feasu of system is working fine so no problem of SIM card attachment .

System is working on D.C. voltage.

Please guide.

OK, SSTNO is only applicable to the outgoing calls of the station that it is set on, and depending on how you have it set (NO = no restriction on who sees the phone info, YES = 100% restriction on who sees the info, etc) it can selectively block that info or insert a different number into external CID. It will not affect the display of an incoming call unless the phone calling you has it set to YES, and then you will see "Unknown Number" in the display.

CLIP (I believe) affects you being able to see the ANI of external callers, and that also has to be a feature that is set up on your external trunks (I believe). I cannot honestly remember if my cordless phones that have displays on them are able to display any information from the PBX or not. Analog phones would have to receive the CID information as they would on a traditional phone line. If there is a setting for that it would be in the station configuration, but I don't think there is one. It is also possible there may be a system-wide parameter that controls that in ZAND or ZANDE, but I don't use that stuff every day and have never gone looking for that.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. I will try to call someone that has a cordless phone later and see if they get anything on the display... It might also be affected by whether your device is set to ANADTMF or ANAVAR - or there might possibly be another one in that group that affects that result.

Dear All,

After checking whole parameter of system and found that Input DC voltage is 40 V D.C. to epabx and after increasing the voltage to 50 V D.C. now CLIP is working fine . Earlier there is ringing voltage problem

This is for information to you all.
