Extension re-numbering issue

I have a Magix with a PRI. I ordered some more DID's and am having a problem re-numbering the current default extensions to the new DID's (last 4 digits). Example: I go to re-number, single, extension and when it asks for the old extension I enter 7118, new extension I entered 8450, it doesn't accept 8450. Is the dial plan causing the issue? Currently it's using 801 through 828. The existing DID's end with 58XX and I didn't have any problems re-numbering with them.
 
Lines are 801 through 880, so the 1st 3 digits of 8450 conflict with line 845.

Print your dial plan, and you should see where your conflicts are.

I'd probably renumber the lines to 601-680, then renumber the extensions.
 
I have the dial plan and the only thing that starts with 8 is the Dial Plan for Pools (pool 2 - 11 use 890 - 899) and the Dial Plan for Lines/Trunks (Line 1 - 28 use 801 - 828). I'll re-number the lines to 601 - 628 and see what happens.
 
Will it let me re-number the lines or do I have to completely remove the lines and add them back as the different number?
 
You can renumber them without removing them. Eventhough you do not have lines 829-881 you need to renumber them as well. when renumbering a block of numbers the system will need to be idle (you cannot renumber a line that is in-use).
 
After re-numbering the lines I was able to re-number the new DID's to the 8450 - 8469 range. When I called the DID's I still get a fast busy and I can't transfer to the new DID's using the AA (8 isn't being used in the AA so there shouldn't be a conflict there). I was told the DID's need to be entered into the PRI table. Is that hard to do?
 
Set 8 in the auto attendant to Direct Extension Transfer, and create a mailbox or give transfer permissions to the extension numbers in the voice mail.
 
I was able to set 8 for the extension transfer in the AA and after getting some help with the PRI table, all is working. Thanks for the help.
