Hello all,

We are getting an IPDA shelf installed at a regional site.
Does any one know the AMO's for adding a DID range to the dial Plan?

Thanks for your help,

The IPDA is part of the main system.
For example if you have a phone at the main site and a DSS button on it you can have an extension that is on the IPDA on that phone.
Whatever Extension range is at the main site also applies to the IPDA site

Hi sbcsu,

This is a completely new DID range that doesn't exsist yet at the host.
These numbers were just ordered and need to be added to the host.
I was wondering how to add them via commwin.

Thank you,

If the DDI range will match the extensions then just add the extension range like your existing range.
If they do not match they will have to be converted incoming.

ADD-WABE
type = dgts
dgts = XXXX&&YYYY
dar = STN

The rest is optional (dpln = 0 if it makes you) unless you have to to special routing for the IPDA, in which case after you're done you would do

CHA-WABE
type = dgts
dgts = XXXX&&YYYY
route = (route number of that IPDA if that applies)
rest is optional

I am not into IPDA yet, but could be close. I am used to 9006 routing where each site has a standalone switch with its own dial plan and you have to route calls to it. I think for an IPDA because it's all routed by IP the network probably handles all that, so you might only need the first part.

Hey Cowboy, if you still need help I just did this for one of our remote sites.
