I have no NEC experience but multiple other PBX knowledge.
This concerns an NEC NEAX switch.
If I have certain phones that have a "0" for the beginning of the extension number, what programming could I use just to remove the "0" before sending the extension number along with "911" to an external 911 location device?

The easiest way of doing this would be to leave the 0 off in Cmd 1212 and add it to cmd 5005. But that would depend on how you are sending it to the 911 location device.

Actually never having tried this I'm not that sure you can manipulate the CLI other than to enter what is normally sent out. If there is I would be looking in LCR, probably an 8A5XXX command as there are a few for North America only in there that I am not accquainted with.
