Extension numbering in Partner messaging

I'm a bit confused by the Partner Messaging (R7) documentation. The maximum number of physical extensions on a Partner system is 48. Suppose I want to create 60 mailboxes, some of which will have no phone associated with them. Can I just use extension numbers above 57 for these guest mailboxes? (I'm using ACS R6 in the processor).

Yes. You can also use 3-digit ghost extensions with Partner Messaging. Just make sure they don't conflict with your 2-digit range (example-20 and 200).
