Hi,

IP Office newbie here. We're using IP Office 4.2 I've spent some time looking through this forum for an answer to my question, but I must admit I haven't spent hours and hours searching. In our user list there isn't a little red "thingy" (I have no idea what that icon is), to the left of the name of one of our employees. She is in our China office, and her number is supposed to forward to an extension there. Her Manager emailed me this morning saying that it is not forwarding. I checked the user's forwarding tab, and the forwarding number is correct and "forward unconditional" is checked. Does this have anything to do with the absence of the red icon? Most of our active users have that red icon to the left of their names. And would someone please tell me what the icon is, and how to make it appear next to her name? Thanks in advance for any/all replies!

i think its to do with a log in password which is set up against the user.

The red thingy is a red desk (Hotdesk user), she/he can login on any extension using the shortcode *35*XXX*PWD# (XXX extn number) the password can be found on the user>telephony>supervisor setting>login code.
