Extension not matching correct person's name

We have let go a few ppl in our office. I had to redo and change many extensions. For some reason the extensions do not match up to the correct person's name. For example; Mike was extension 23. Mike left and ed took his office. I transfered Ed's extension to 23. I changed Ed's display name in his office. But when I transfer a call to Ed it still shows up as "transfer to mike" HOw to I change the name so when I transfer a call in shows up correctly. It is not a big deal now but when we start getting more ppl in it will be. I do cave Nortel CallPiolt. THANKS

if you changed it in the Norstar you will need to change it in the CP
