Partner ACS release 7.0
Client just moved from a large switch to their own solo switch, the Partner.
Thier DID lines were converted to centrex lines by Verizon.
At extension 10 and one other location(The extensions that make a lot of calls), the client dials a number. The number dialed comes up on the display, but the call doesn't go through sometimes. They either get dead air or a message that states the number has been disconnected.
They actually have called someone with the last 4 digits 5002, the person on the other end said that they had the worng number, the client asked what number they called, the person said 5005. The display read 5002 at the client's site.
I am now asking the client to let me know if it is always on the same line that this occurs.
I traded out phones with one of the locations, but the problem is still going on.
I am thinking that it might be the DTMF signalling on the partner or believe it or not, a Verizon issue. We had a load of trouble moving the lines from DID's over to cenrex lines and things might have gotten messed up along the way.
