extension name on handset?

Is it possible to show the username on a particular handset? When we transfer a call we can see who is transfering but I want the name to appear at each workstation. btw, it's a ACS r5.

Feature 00, Left Intercom,Left Intercom,Right Intercom, enter station then press the Left intercom and enter the name with the dial pad. Feature 00 to exit

Forgot to tell you that you will need the Character Codes, Do you have them? If not they are on page 5-131 of your manual, they are two digit codes per letter

Can you do the same thing using the pc administration software?

Thanks Telprog. I already have that programmed in but it does not show up on the individual extensions. The only thing showing on the handsets is the date and time. No name at all.

I think you have the wrong idea of what the name on the Partner system does.
The name doesn't show up on the Display when the phone is in idle state, it will only show up on the phone that you are intercomming, it will show station number and name. that's about all it does.
It would be nice if the station name was on the display like some other systems do, perhaps they will change this in the future.

It also will not show up when doing a voice announced intercom call, only a ringing intercom call will show the name of the extension calling.

Sorry, forgot the rest of the senario: It will not show on a voice announced intercom call when the receiving extension has their "HFAI" turned on.
