Extension must be an off-switch (UDP) extension 1

Trying to add a hunt with rem-vm connecting to my MM server at main site and adding Voice Mail Extension:

When I enter the extension I am getting, "Extension must be an off-switch (UDP) extension".

I tried using the extension in uniform dialplan as ext as well as aar and have it configured in the dialplan.

Running CM 3.1.4 at remote site and CM 5.1.1 at main.

Any ideas?

Sounds like your two sites are connected via DCS tie trunk. The voicemail extension at your remote site needs to be programmed for UDP and AAR. The voicemail extension at your main site so no need for UDP there.

Sorry thought you meant main. I do have the number programmed in the UDP on the remote site as AAR.

Do you have any UDP stations on the remote site? Can you provide just the voicemail extension entries from your UDP and AAR table on the remote site?

I used a new number and it worked. Not sure why but need to research. Thank you for your help
