I have a 7310 phone (extension 227) that was unplugged for a few minutes. When we plugged it back in it became 228 and we cannot figure out how to revert it back to 227. Any ideas?

Unplug the phone ext 228, turn set relocation off, plug phone back in and if you want to set relocation back to on. Some older phone will not ID with system so when you have set relocation on it thinks it is a new set and gives it a new extension.
Or go into software under change DN and switch 228 for 227.

Set relocation was off to begin with. I could try the software swap, but I have never done it before.

Press feature *0 and intercom then press view 227 should be port 107 and 228=108 if set relocation was off.

OK, set relocation WAS off. Now how do I swap the DNs?

In programming under config, system programming, scroll to change dn.
