Extension busy on M2250 console

Good afternoon all,

Gitser here, Fairly new to meridian so pls bare with me.. I know this question has been posted a couple of times but I'm looking for baby steps answers if possible plss

Spec : Meridian 11c rls 25

Basically our receptionst has a M2250 console and wants to program the keys on the console to managers ext so that she'll know weather the managers ext is busy or not..Basically when the managers on the phone the console lite will turn on.. I've had an engineer come in and he said it can't be done on the rls we have..

Like I said I'm new to the system so I believed him but now I'm looking for a second opinion

You can add a BLF- "busy lamp field" to the console.

BASICALLY IT CAN'T BE DONE ON A STAND-ALONE 2250 WITHOUT ADDING THE BLF, AND THAT IS LIMITED BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO ASSIGN THE NUMBERS IN ORDER 201-299.
YOUR BEST BET IS GET RID OF THE 2250 AND REPLACE IT WITH A 2616 OR 3904 WITH AOM, THE 2250 LOOKS IMPRESSIVE BUT YOU CAN DO A LOT MORE WITH A PHONE
