extension beeping when plugged in

It's a Monday. I have a dgital ext. Dterm 8D that is beeping with or without the Mic button on. Beep - bop, beep-bop, beep-bop. No dial tone. The line was fine on Friday. Swapped phones but the problem persists. Any ideas?

Nec2000IPS/Neax 64VM
