I have autoattendant set to answer after four rings, however ext 222's vm is answering the lines after about 3 rings. Nortel mics and a startalk flash. Any ideas?

Go into 222 Capabilities and change the Call Forward No Answer ring count to 4 or more.

so each ext vm has to be set to more rings than the AA. Is that the case?

Or AA to less...yes.

You have a set ring and you have vmail answering as a backup alos so you need to change your rings counts so they do not conflict with each other.

Setting rings did the trick. I wasn't aware that an extension would auto pick up an incoming call. Thanks for all help .
