Extension 10 noise 2

206, 200, R4.1 processor, Partner Mail VS R4.0.

Extension 10 has noise, I changed out the 206 twice with known good ports 206 module.

Carrier? Processor? 200 module?

I'd swap out the 5-slot carrier first. My experience is that flaky processors will cause static on all ports, not just one.

The modules in that system are really long in the tooth. Is there any possibility of an upgrade to an Avaya Partner ACS R8 processor?

I would go with the 5-slot as well. Sometimes a certain slot has issues.
