Hi all,
A colleague of mine has a BT Home hub wireless network installed at home. His house is very wide with thicks walls and as a consequence he cannot get coverage throughout the house, no matter where he places the BT Home hub box. He needs to extend the range, and I believe that the options are:

1) Buy a more powerful ADSL Modem wireless router
2) Buy 2 homeplugs which connect to the electricity mains, connect one to the BT Home Hub, and the other to a new Wireless Access Point at the other end of the house
3) Buy an extender or repeater - this is an option that I do not know enough about, so any information is gratefully received.

These are the three options that I've managed to come up with so far. Can anybody either give further options, or advise which they consider the best choice.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Just do number 2 without the 2 homeplugs which connect to the electricity mains - using the wireless set into bridge mode - place the access point at the far end of the BT Home hub wireless range - this will extend your wireless network.
