I need to extend my T1 from DMARC to another building. The other building is 900 ft +/- away and the two buildings are connected with 2 ea 50 pair underground cables and terminated at each end with 66blocks.

My phone company will not run over private lines and will not move the DMARC. I was told to repeat the T1 so I purchased 2 ea WesCom T1 Mini-Repeaters.

How are these hooked up? My T1 is a 4 wire / 2 pair setup.

Is my protection on my private 50 pair lines going to cause any interference?

If you requested the smart jack to be installed in the remote building. All Telcos will install there for a fee.

You can extend from demarc using any two pair. I have had to do it in high-rise buildings where dmarc is in basement and customer forgot to order it extended upto there computer room. You sometimes get interferance from other lines on cable.

Do not know about repeaters. Never had to install them.

Good Luck!!
