I have a non IP phone system with analog ports and would like to essentially extend one of the analog ports to a remote location over an existing IP connection.

When a call goes through to the analog extension of the phone system, I want it to be sent to the analog telephone at the remote location. Also, I want to be able to lift the telephone at the remote location and have instant access to my PBX dial tone.

What type of type of products do I need. Any suggestions on manufacture/model? Are there any special configuration considerations for my application?

I second that. I have about 10 of these boxes in place on our older (read non ip based) pbx's. Works well, and is easy to manage.
