I have a field defined as numeric but when I change the decimal place to 4 instead of 2 I get 4 decimals but it seems to be rounding down and placing zeros in the last 2 decimal places. Example. Entered as 5.6785 is displayed & calculating as 5.6700.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Jodi

You need to format the number in the field where it is displayed - Setting it to 4 decimal places means it can be "as much as" four places - The formating of the field should fix your problem -

I fixed it myself. When the field is initially defined and numeric is selected as the type of field, the size of the field defaults to 10.2. All I needed to do was change the default to 10.4 and this solved my problem.
