We are considering the following powernoc kit to connect access points that will be 5-600ft apart.
The purpose of this will be so that a handheld unit will be able to run our software via terminal services at this remote location. We have done this via direct access to the access points but never needed to add an extension. Can anyone reccomend anything else to help me in my research for what will work best for me. Thanks..

If it is in the same building, you could use a wireless extender. If you do want to wireless bridging between buildings, we have used Proxima units with great success.

We will be running POS software in a country club's club house and they want to be able to run the software on wirless pda's at the swimming pool area to take drink and food orders, which will print to the kitchen or bar back at the club house and someone will bring the orders out to the pool. We have done this a few times with restaurant patios that are attached to the main building, but this pool is 500ft away and a fiber line is not an option.
As I mentioned this is our first time to have to stray away from a hardwired access point, and bridging is all that I see, but wasn't sure if I was in the wrong ballpark with what I am looking at.
