Extend Delay before dialing on PRI T1?

We would like to know if anybody knows if there is a way when we go off hook on a PRI T1 and start dialing a telephone number, yet stop dialing midstreamm or pause when dialing the number and the go to finish, its like the line
Times OUT and ther is no line.....How does one extend this time if you hesitate dialing a number on a PRI?

Any suggestions?

It's called Dial Timeout the default is 4 I always bump mine up to 8, you will find it under Dialing Plan.
