ext-dev minor alarm

Hi all, need a bit of help here. I have a minor alarm in one of my epn's that is a Ext-Dev. in the error log it has a err type "5". I have tried everything possible to remove and clear this alarm. I ran every test that the manual recommends to run and still have this error (alarm).I have even ran a "test eda-external-device-alrm all and its still there ... by the way I get an error fail on test 120.

What should I do next??

Check your aux cable, any connections to it, also do a test alarms long clear.

Hardware Platform?
CM Software Version?
Cabinet type MCC, SCC, CMC, g650?
Which Cabinet?

The need for this has to do with hardware that controls EXT-DEV major and minor alarms. The wiring is not always on the Aux cable.

Post the alarm and the output for the test
