Hello there,

i'm working with Architect 7 (MR1) on a Win200 server and a connection to a SQL Server 2000 database. Now when i try to create an expression using functions i get into trouble. THe problem does only occur when i use functions which require two or more input fields e.a add-days (today(), 1). The problem is that i get the highlighted red symbol under the comma (,) sign in every case, so i am not able to save the expression. When using single input field functions i do not have the problem and so these functions work correct. Does anone have any idea what might be wrong?

Greetings Sjaak van Esdonk

'add-days (today(), 1)' is wrong because 'today()' is not a cognos function. You have to use 'now()'

So, try with: add-days (now(), 1)

Graham.
