Hi.

I have one customer who as a very long formula in one of their query. They can't tell me how long it is, but they said it's very complex. If they try to edit the formula with the formula editor, the formula is truncate by one character (the formula itself). If they try to edit it several times, each time it shrinks the formula by one character.

Bug???

If they zoom, no problem. They use Access 2003

Thanks

Any expression that long doesn't belong in an expression. This sounds like a great time to use a user-defined function where you can add comments, more easily maintain the logic, etc. There are limits to the number of characters returned form the expression builder.

Ouaip. That's what I have said to them. But they don't have any programming skills and I try to help. Thank's for your answer.
