Cisco call manager express version 2.2
We have had this system for several years at a small location, about 25 users. This site has been very stable personnel wise so have not had to go in and make changes in about a year. Today we had an issue with a phone and needed to swap it out with a good one already in the system. If I go in to configure - extensions, I can change the name and the label etc without issue. However, when I go to the configure - phone page and try to display a particular phone by clicking on the MAC I get a new box open up with "Loading information - please wait" in it, but the system never does anything else, no new page displaying the individual phone info. Any ideas what might be causing this? (Ultimate goal is to change the extension to that of the damaged phone and swap them out)

I take it you are making these changes via the GUI ?...

1. Try access the GUI from another PC (might be an IE problem?)
2. Re-copy all of the GUI files to the Router
3. Else, make the configuration change from the CLI

Sadly this is a "split" shop, Network do their thing, Telecom does theirs "and never the two shall meet" Trying to get Network help in matters like this is difficult to say the least. We have tried from other PC's with the same results. Thanks for the reply I will work with them to see what we can do ...!

I am guessing that the router IOS was upgraded by your network team without upgrading the CME files to match the version of IOS, which cause the issues you have.
What is the IOS on the router?
Either way you should upgrade to the latest (7.X). Version 2.2 is 4 years old.

Thanks for the idea, I will check that out with the Network team. Being a smaller location, they will be unlikely to get an upgrade, we may end up pulling them on to our main CCM early next year, but for right now, no one is spending money on them.
