Express Messaging:

I am trying to configure express messaging on a nortel bcm50. Has anyone had any luck with this? I have set it up as an application dn with a line and set it us as express messaging in Call Pilot. I just get a busy signal.

Set the target line if busy parameter to the voicemail extension. Providing you have set up the call pilot correctly it should work fine.

In order to use the espress messaging feature, the line (target line) can not appear on any set extensions. If an extension has the line appearance of the same line that has been entered in the express messaging field, the set will ring and will not be answered by the mailbox greeting until a forward condition occurs.
