Big Lucy has still another problem this time with express messenger. When you call in and get the auto-attdn it will say transfering to (the correct extension) you will hear the rings and then instead of forwarding to the mailbox it goes back to the auto-attdn. I'm in Ca. and the switch is on the east coast, I'm trying to get someone to go by and reseat the card I also was thinking about doing a reboot in the express manager what's your thoughts?
Thanks in advance
BL

is there a restriction in the tenant?
Internally what happens if you call the extension? We will eliminate some factors that way. Also can that extension call voicemail and get messages, that will also eliminate some possibilities?

No restrictions in the tenant, you can retrieve your msgs and chg user options sta to sta also wont go to a mb just the auto-attdn

if the other stations forward to mail I would not reboot the MEM.
Are you saying won't go to vmail internally?
Has the forwarding on the phone been checked and also what "type" is the mailbox in the Express?
Is the tenant, cos the same on the station that is not working as one that is, that would eliminate those?

No station goes to VM just A/A but if you dial 300 which is the code to acess your mb it will ask for your passcode and you can set up and change your user options. This is a Lodge so there are guest and there are ext. I have verified from a working 200 w/MEM that the COS and Tenant are set up correctly. I have set up a test extension and created a new mb for it and it works the same way

are you saying that the mboxes are set up as guest and if you are have they been checked in via Property Management system or front desk mbox?

Yes and No some are guest and some are extensions (the admin people)the test extension I created is not affected by the PMS nor are any of the extensions just the guest phones

the one that is not working is that set up as a "guest"?
Before a "guest" mailbox will work properly is has to be checked in.

Yes I know the guest phones work that way but I'm talking extensions not guest and even checked in the caller wont go to a mb

to eliminate the mail why don't you call forward to another extension with the same tenant and cos as the voicemail.
