ExportXML subreport data missing

I am exporting a report that contains subreports using the Application.ExportXML function. The subreport data is not exported so it is also missing from the optional presentation as a HTML document as well. The subreports data are also missing when done (export to xml) manually from the menus. Exporting to HTML does work and includes the subreports. What I really need is the XML data as grouped in the report, the HTML presentation is just a nice addition. ExportXML is a new feature of Access2002, maybe it is a bug?

Actually, unless I am mistaken, the ExportXML method began as a part of ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) which can be implemented from any version of Access. Around a year and a half ago I developed a demo which used ADO to save data as a .xml file and I experienced some of the same problems you are. A little research on the Microsoft Knowledgebase indicated there was a problem with that feature. Although I have not followed up I would be surprised if that had not been corrected and implemented in Access 2002.

Searching for ExportXML on the Knowledgebase shows 11 active articles.
