Hi,

I'm not sure of the best course of action here. exportvg has been run on the standby node for a volumegroup so the definition is lost on this side. How can I recreate this, can I do this without any disruption,

cheers..

Here is the answer I have used...

Break reservations on the disks on primary node.

varyonvg -b -u <volgroup>

Importvg on the standby node but not varyon.

importvg -n -y <volgroup> -V <majornumber> <disk>

then on Primary node varyon the vg

varyonvg <volgroup>

Only thing left is that the volume group on the standby node is set to auto-varyon so you need to fix that at the next available slot.
