Exporting w/CR11. Editable .rtf and underlines or underscores

I was glad to see that CR made it easier to edit an exported report result in v. 11. Problem is, it doesn't export underscores. I have some numerical totals and columns of numbers with underlines. All are lost when exported. Anyone have a way around this issue?
