Exporting txt file from Impromptu...size limitation?

Hello,

I am trying to export a very large chunk of data from our data warehouse using Impromptu for an imminent project. The resulting file is just over 1 GB, but the data is nowhere near complete. I've surmised that the issue involves the Cognos export process, since I can create a 3.5 GB file on the server from Access SQL without any network errors.

Is there a export limitation in Impromptu that I'm not aware of? Perhaps it involves size of the resulting file, or number of records? Is there a property I can edit to allow it to export the entire extract?

I would prefer to export the data together if at all possible, rather than exporting different files and then appending them to make one text file in Access SQL, in order to meet the timeline set for running the HEDIS process. But at this late date, I'll do whatever I need to do. I'd just like to know if there is an "easy fix" for the problem. : )

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Jennifer
