When I export data to a .txt file, I get a leading space on each line. However, if I export it to .rtf and then save it to a .txt file, then the space is not there.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you get rid of the space?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Tracy

Hi,
The .txt file output may be using the default margins
set by your default printer...Before exporting next time, try setting the 'no printer' option for the report.

You can also improve it by setting 'dpi' to 16. No idea why this works, but it does.

I've tried the no printer option and it didn't make a difference.

As for setting the 'dpi' to 16, our printers don't have this option, we have 600 dpi.

U2Ftext.dll needs to be 12/31/2008

The blank space in the first position was a known problem that was fixed.

Thanks, I just ran across a 3/18/09 posting that mentioned a hotfix for this issue.

Well...my U2Ftext.dll is OLD 2/3/2001, so I guess that's my problem. Thanks for your response.
