Exporting to MS Excel via .NET

I have a Crystal XI report, with headings, which runs OK.
A runtime parameter has been now introduced
so that if passed a value of “Y”,
then I use Section Expert to suppress the headings.
This is because when the report is to be run from the calling .NET environment, with this new option,
the file saved will then be loaded to MS Excel.

When I run the report with “Y” selected from my PC,
and then select
File > Export > Export Report > Custom, all looks fine,
everytning lines up just as it should.

However, when the report is produced from .NET,
it is a mess :
Columns do not line up, and
these are 2 space lines between every detail line.

So how do I change settings in the report to prevent this ?

All the detail entries are the same size,
there are no spaces between them, and
I have selected “Fit Section”.

Many thanks
