exporting to Excel

There is a report that one of my users exports to Excel. when he exports it with there are two problems.

In the page header and in the details section there are 10 items. in Crystal they align correctly however when he exports it to Excel the 5th item (both in page header and in the detail section) come out on the line below.

ie
in crystal reports Page Header
name address city state zip phone

in excel
name address city zip phone
state

in crystal reports detail
John Doe 123 main street fake city CT 06422 203-555-1212

is there a way to correct this?

corrected the problem--made the page header and detail lines small instead of 1/2" in height I changed it to 1/4" in height
