Exporting to Excel in Landscape Orientation 1

When I export my report to excel format, it always changes the orientation to portrait even if I programmatically set it to landscape. The report is also designed as landscape. Has anyone encountered this?
I'm using Crystal Reports Server XI Release 2.

Yes, I've seen that behavior.

Consider a 3rd-party tool as a solution (for a list of such tools, see
My Visual CUT software allows you to automate the process of exporting to excel and then (using the "XLS_Print_Setup:..." command line argument) setting up various print options (orientation, fit to page, margins, etc.).
