Hi All,

I'm sure you've heard of this problem before but it is absolutely doing my head in. I am trying to export a file to excel from asp over the web using Crystal 8.5. I have windows 2000 server on my machine.
The error number is 2147190908

A number of people appear to have experienced this issue and in response to suggestions made to these people, I have already tried reregistering dlls. Also the known problem with setting the parameter's default value is not valid, since there is no parameters in my report.
Can anybody help me please?

Thank you so much

What kind of database are you reporting from?? Maybe you can export to a lower Excel version when you set up for export. I have never had a problem exporting into Excel, and I export reports daily to "do more work" on them. I have a several books and certified crystal useres at hand if you still need help please let me know.

How many records are you exporting? Remember Excel has a limit of 65000 rows.

If your fields don't line up well, that can end up being 3 or 4 rows per record. Turn off free form placement in the section editing to line the data up better if this is the cause of your problem.
