Exporting to excel from ASP report

I am currently using the ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel" to export a dynamicaly created report into excel. My question is, is there anyway to prompt the user as to whether they want to save the excel document or launch it. I have seen this before but am not sure if its down to the individuals PC settings.

If anyone knows of a way I can control this or even what the settings are I would be very grateful.
