EXPORTING TO COMMA DELIMINATED FILE

I am trying to export a query into a comma deliminated
text file. however my date field is outputting strange results.

Example: ,10/1/00 00:00:00,

I want only the data output without the time. I tried
changing the format to short date with no success.

I had the same problems and ended up formating the date the way I wanted it. example: Format(Date(),"yyyymmdd&quot

Not a true fix but I converted the date into
a text string and worked fine
