Exporting to a text file fixed width

I have a few fields in a table one needs to show as 4 decimals ie: 0.0000
the other needs to show as two decimals ie: 000.00

I have tried formatting it several ways - Number, Currency, text

The problem: When I export the table down to a fixed width text file it brings up a dollar sign in the field

Help any suggestions

Format as follows :
Field Type = Number
Field Size = Double
Format = Fixed
Decimal Places = 4 (or 2)
