Exporting Shareponing Document Properties???!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem:

Is it possible to make information held about a file in sharepoint such as version number, owner etc populate (i.e. be visible) onto the acutal document and into the document properties within the document (e.g. File-Properties in MS Word).

I'd appreciate any help!
