I am wondering when you export a report after it is in preview mode by right clicking and going to save as/export

Why will the report not export correctly if it has check boxes with values in them?

I have tried to export to an excel document and it will not export the checkbox fields or file names to excel.

It will export all fields to HTML or rich text, but no values for the check boxes. Can this be done, if so how?

When you go to preview mode on a report in access on the tool bar there is a blue W which is the word logo. there are 3 choices if you click the drop down next to it. 1. merge it with Microsoft word. 2. Publish it with Microsoft word and the 3rd choice is analyze it with Microsoft excel choose that.

it still does not export the value of the checkbox..

I know this is an older thread, but I've found the best thing to do in this situation is:

1. Delete the checkbox from your report
2. Add an unbound textbox in its place
3. Change control source of the textbox to the "checkbox" field
4. Change the format to your choosing (i.e. yes/no or true/false)

There may be other ways, but this is what I usually do.
