Exporting report into Excel

Is that Excel has a limit on the length of text allowed in a cell, and Access has therefore exported text upto that limit?

Never experienced that one exactly... You might try setting the can grow property of the memo field and the section it is in and see if it helps.
Access can be a little too WYSIWIG in doing the transfer from a a report to Excel. I once had an error trying to convert a report because a field was not quite wide enough for the edge of a letter... It was a foot of an "M" if memory serves.
Alternately, you coud just transfer a query. I guess it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
