exporting records to filemaker db

i'm trying to exprt records from one FMP 5.5 db to another. when i do, all of the field "options" are lost.

is there a way to include the formula and options when exporting?

Filemaker export is for export of data only. Calculations, formula, field format options are not exported. Only the text in the fields.

Do you realy want to Export? 'Save a copy as' will keep your field settings - and everything else!
