I am creating queries and reports in IBM Cognos 8, and able to successfully export results to an Excel spreadsheet. This is done to create a linked table for an Access database. So, my goal is to have a clean table with a header row, followed by data.

I delete the Title and turn 'off' the three features in this area; filters, sorts and suppressions. However, I still get a blank row at the top of the spreadsheet that I do not want. How do I get rid of this? Also, I get a footer every time I do an export. How do I get rid of it, as well?

Did you disable header and footer of the page?

Thanks Ties, for the post.

Can you be more specific please? I don't see that setting anywhere in Cognos.
