When I export a group of points PNEZD (Comma Delimited) it places a space after the comma. My surveying equipment will not recognize this format. How can I export points without the space after the comma.

(I know a word processor you can find and replace, but I don't want to every time I export points)

Thanks in advance.

What are you using to export the points, is it customizable?

I thought that opening it an excel then re-saving it might do i; it removed space before numbers but added spaces before text.

Autodesk Land Desktop 2007, with the Survey Package.

I go to points-
export points-
choose the format PNEZD etc...

It always gives me the coordinates in this format- PNEZD

1, 5000.000, 10000.000, 100.00, Cntl

I want it in this format-

1,5000.000,10000.000,100.00,Cntl

Thank you for your time Carl.

If I have time I will write my own lisp routine.

There lisp routine writes to an SDR33 Data Collector.

I want to write to a .txt file from a point group.

"Find and Replace" Bahhhh!!!!

Did you try to install Service Pack 1? That was supposed to correct the comma-separated output file to remove the spaces, if I understood the description from that second link I posted.

Yes I Just Installed SP2a and it fixed my problem.

However, now I have a new problem.

Click on Dimension Syle and Land Desktop
SHUTS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!! with no warning, blue screen of death, error message, NOTHING!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Anyone have this problem yet?
