Hi everyone,

I am really new at Corel. I am trying to export a JPEG image to be used as a background of a web page. The reason I am doing this in Corel is that I have to add some text over this photo image. This was the easiest part. All JPEG files were squeezed from top to bottom. The best I could achieve was a GIF file - relatively small (64 KB) but extremely grainy. I tried messing with PHOTO PAINT but the files were huge and not suitable for the web. Would someone please give clear instructions how I can get a clear image with a reasonably small size for a web page in my case?

I would appreciate all advice and comments.

Depends what version of Corel but instead of exporting try publish to web, you can change things there. I wouldn't use Corel to produce your web page though, far better programmes to do this try Namo.com. Corel Photo Paint is good for making components but not the site.
