exporting page footer to excel

i have a report that shows the quantity in the detail section. the name of the textbox that has the quantity is txtQ. i need to export the report to excel, how can i create a total sum of the quantity. so it shows up in excel when i export the report ?

Access version: 2002
OS version: windows XP Professional
