I have a hard drive hooked up to another machine to recover the data. What I want to do is get the ODBC settings from the reg file to export out so that I can import it into the new hard drive for use over Crystal reports.

I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong forum - but any thoughts/help??

I need both the system DSN and User DSN

Thanks

Simplest way is to open regedit point to ODBC->ODBC.INI from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (SYSTEM ONLY) and HKEY_CURRENT_USER and export them and
them import back in the system that you needed them.

Make sure you install all drivers before configuring them on new system else it might prompt an error stating couldnt find setup routines.
