Hi.
I have a premiere project which is about 60 minutes, and I wondered how to export this into a 600-700 mb .avi-file. What specs should I use? Like fps and resolution. And what compression-tool is best? I just want the movie to fit on a cd.
How can a make a .mpg (.mpeg) of it using premiere?

I've never done this before, so any help or tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you tried the "f1" function?

Click on the timeline. File >> Export to web

The project settings that will make a 60-minute movie fit on a CD are things with which you'll have to experiment. The variables are frame size, fps, codec and (if applicable) codec quality setting.

Your goal is to get as close to 700 M as possible without going over, but maintain an acceptable level of quality. Try different settings on a small clip of your movie and see which ones you like. Keep track on paper of all your settings -- if you just dink around and guess, you'll replicate work and waste time.
